About the Name

D' peace means "from peace" or "of peace". That is exactly what we want to give our customers something that was created from peace to bring them peace. This is very important for the line and took months to come up with. It all started at a family brunch at Perkins in Tampa with my Brothers, and my Dad. We were discussing business regular family talk in our family, when I announced I was going to launch a business that will help people and  put me through college. They laughed and wrote me off like they normally do. Then I went back home and told my mother and together we started working on it. It has taken us FOREVER and we have been through lots of little trial and errors, but we made it!  My signature and the logo is a D with a peace sign in it. I have to give credit to my fiance for coming up with the logo he drew it up himself one night in one of his cray spells of creativity. The idiom of the name is in the way it is pronounced sometimes people say d' piece of jewelery we want to give you. That's witty, but not exactly what we mean. I truly hope this jewelry bring peace to everyone it reaches.

How are pearls made?

Pearls are smooth, rounded beads formed within a shells of certain mollusks and composed of the mineral aragonite or calcite in a matrix. The mollusks deposited in concentric layers as a protective coating around an irritating foreign object( like a grain of sand) in the mollusks mouth. Then years later you open the mollusk and it has formed a beautiful pearl. The pearls are imported in and handcrafted by us to make in order to make this gorgeous jewelry.   

About me part 2

 Hello, My name is Denisse Gonzalez. I reside in Miami, Florida; the sunshine state. I am 21 years old and I am a full time student at Florida International University. I also work at Pinecrest Elementary School. I am majoring in Education and getting a minor in anthropology. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I launched this brand along with my family in order to bring some beauty and positivity to the world through our jewelery. I hope you like it!

The Process

The processs has been long and tedious but rome wasnt built in a day. I have realized that all great things take alot of time. I know I have teasing you all, but please bare with me.  Life is a crazy rollercoaster, zooming by faster than you notice. The brand is going to have a photo shoot this weekend and the website can officially be launched in two weeks. We are still working on packaging and certificates of authenticity . This has beeen an exciting and extensive project for me. I can"t wait till we are in bussiness. I hope to sse you soon wearing our jewlery!

Philosophy

          The philosophy of D' Peace is to always strive to empower people. I believe that people have the ability within them to do amazing things, but they don't always show it. These pieces of jewelry are meant to bring out and remind people what they have within. I insure the highest quality of Fresh water and Tahitian pearls. Every piece is hand crafted; made love, and hope for its future owner.
